We are Christian players but sometimes we lose our tempers or do other things that are not right for Christians to do. But you shouldn’t look at us in this way. The only one who never sinned was Jesus. We are all human. We all sin but Jesus came for sinners. Don’t look at people. Look at Jesus. ~ Ze Roberto, Brazilian professional football player

TenisFutbol

fangirlI’m a fan of tennis (Rafael Nadal, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova) and football (Manchester United, Real Madrid).

So much for The Championships (Wimbledon 2014) and the World Cup (FIFA World Cup Brasil 2014). Come to mention it we only get to witness exciting football games from the world’s best football teams every four years! And then there’s tennis that fans watch multiple times every year caring more about what goes on about their favorite players (and how they’re doing in the sport) rather than their lives.

Fan-girling is basically no life. 😀 Because of time differences, we get sleep loss and when work gets in our ways, creeping is the name of the game.

TenisFutbol is the new sport. The life of a FanGirl is hard. 😀

Juan Mata Carrying the Load for Moyes @MrDaddyD

I know it’s going to take Moyes some time to adjust to another pressure from this lucrative yet promising (hopefully) signing. With Mata and the lads all good and injury-free, Moyes has a full squad to pick from for the Crystal Palace match. I’m expecting a pretty strong line-up though ’cause man, Moyes still can’t get his sh*t together at shaping up a blazing squad. How about if we play Januzaj on the left and Valencia on the right? Just please, please don’t find a way to mess it up. It’s just that I can’t predict the reds’ games since then. Well, ’til the end of match. Glory, glory Manchester United!

@OldTraffordReds

Manchester United’s newest signing £37.1 million Juan Mata from Chelsea could be one of the biggest signings in United’s recent history for a number of reasons.

Having spent his first transfer window at United unsuccessfully trying to buy a variety of players, and only succeeding in a last minute desperation purchase of Marouane Fellaini. David Moyes has finally got his act together and bought in Juan Mata from Chelsea for a club record £37.1 million. Why Juan Mata? Well, being surplus to requirements at Chelsea, he was one of very few top class players available. With Mourinho seemingly happy to sell to United, he clearly see’s United as little threat to Chelsea for the next few years and maybe looking to the future, Jose has made no secret of managing United one day and ‘helping’ them now might bring some payback at a later date.

David Moyes was able to…

Thank You, Sir Alex!

Things have been a bit gray in this radius since my birthday. Things really do happen when you least expect it.

These cloudy thoughts are inconsolable, thus my apologies. 😥

I’m still sad about yesterday’s huge news, I won’t lie. Wednesday, May 8 was history.

SAF, you have no idea how our lives changed seconds after you confirmed your retirement. I got into an online fight with a fellow United fan on Facebook. My heart wept (tears of sadness and happiness) while re-tweeting glorious messages for you from famous football players/athletes across the world. Sir, I don’t know how else to write you a message now. Like many other fans, all I can think of is to send my heartfelt thank you for standing by the lads, the club and for making us fans very proud. You rewarded us not only with trophies but with mind-blowing games we desired and made it more meaningful in your time. Your extreme dedication to the club will forever amaze me. Keep well and thank you so much, Sir Alex. 🙂

PS: This is my #ThankYouSirAlex message of thanks to the man and I’m also hoping that this gets selected for a Special Alex book. I am keeping my fingers crossed. 🙂

Ho! Hey!

Dear Rafa,

Despite your recent loss in Monte Carlo, I am still grabbing a mic for you, man.

I’ve been trying to do it right
I’ve been living a lonely life
I’ve been sleeping here instead
I’ve been sleeping in my bed
I’ve been sleeping in my bed

So show me family
All the blood that I will bleed
I don’t know where I belong
I don’t know where I went wrong
But I can write a song

1,2,3
I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweet

He’d be standing next to me…

♫ ♪
Love — we need it now
Let’s hope for some
‘Cause oh, we’re bleeding out

♥ I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart ♥
I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweet 🙂

This song describes the mixed emotions I’ve been having since day 21 (MC Final). Honestly, I don’t want to go back to the way I felt in the first set. Nole (Novak Djokovic) almost bagelled Rafa holy shiznit! I almost died when he finally got himself a bread stick. That was the worst feeling that I don’t know how else to handle the choking situation happening on my telly. Rafa didn’t make it though. Nole concluded a 6-2 7-6 (1) win over a struggling Rafa. Sigh. Well, I’ll be okay. I’m always for Rafa win or lose. 🙂

Then, something happened on day 23–the best team in the EPL just won its 20th trophy OMG! I kind of think that good things always come when bad things happen. And it comes sweeter like Spring after Winter. 🙂

Glory, glory Manchester United! ♥ THIS EMOTIONS!

To all the Rafa and MUFC fan-girls and boys out there, go grab a mic and join me sing Ho! Hey! Cheers! 😀

Bah, Humbug!

I don’t talk much at work. I’m allergic to people who sometimes get into conversations about their plans to find a better job or get a promotion. I’m usually a quiet person when it comes to talks about achievements in life. I’m not saying that I’ve got nothing interesting to brag about. I just don’t talk about it, (more likely making yourself the subject of the conversation, ugh I hate it) but I try hard to make connections with them. I talk but I tell ya I’m not impressive. I suck at it. 😀 I could stay tight-lipped forever and I’m cool with that.

Give me everything tennis, football or basketball and I’ll conquer the world for you. Give me hot topics like The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, New Girl, The Killing, etc…name your ‘happy’ (not the self-absorbed happy okay?) and I would make the conversation last long for you. 😀

Conversational narcissism? Bah, Humbug!

Yes, I prefer to be the fat cat today. No, stay away from me, Scruples!

Hopeful of a win from the comeback man (Rafa) and his doubles partner (Pico) in Vina del Mar final today, *sobs*, I woke up to a sad news instead. But on a positive note, I am more than glad to see the man finally back on court, especially on his favorite surface. There’s just this thought that keeps on breaking my heart ’cause most of the Rafa haters tagged the VDM final as the match of Zeballos‘ life and that he somehow managed to “Rosol Nadal”. Grrrrrr! Not only that, the Z guy made history (oh well, it’s all because of Rafa!) for being the first left-handed player to defeat Nadal on red clay! Hooray Horacio! Who would love a Monday like this? Who cares about the Grammys happening right about now? Hmp! I am going to cry anyway so writing might do some good. No one is guaranteed a wonderful Monday, you see, I can’t even accept the fact that Coldplay did not get a Grammy award this year. This is too much to bear. *sigh*

Okay, I’m over reacting. I’m not getting too carried away just yet.

Anyway, I won’t let the evil Monday suck the life out of me today. Of course there’s Manchester United to fill in. The victory over Everton (2-0) courtesy of goals from Sir Ryan Giggs and Robin van Persie is sweeter than Valentine’s day. With only 12 games to play, MUFC is undoubtedly well positioned in the Premier League race. Also, come 13th of the month, the football world will be under pressure again as Real Madrid takes on Manchester United in the most awaited Champions League. It’s such a big match the world is waiting for!

Sad no more! *SMILES*
