From Thailand with L♥ve :)

I received another surprise in the mail today and it’s a ‘thoughtful package’ a.k.a. a postcard from a dearly missed family in Thailand. It’s from my ‘ate’ (big sister) Jing who is now based in Bangkok with her husband and son. Jing is the most beautiful ‘ate’ God has given us. Beautiful–functioning from within and out. 🙂 She uses her energy in a productive and creative way like this one, her thoughts running a great deal out of a cute, baby elephant taking its little steps just to find and surprise me. I can’t thank her enough for the little things she does for the family. She never forgets about us. 🙂

Sawasdeekah Dumbo 🙂

I can honestly say that the personal touch of a postcard or any message in the same form will never be outdone by online communication (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc) which we are abusing nowadays. I’m cool with Twitter but not anymore with Facebook. Privacy is starting to trample on FB and the obsessing/selfies on Instagram is annoying me big time.  I’m talking sh*t about it again stop me! 😀 Anywaaays, looky here. Oh the vintage feeling is so good it’s like reading stuff with the dandy of the eighties. So cool. 😀

It doesn’t get any sweeter than this. 🙂

Free Stickers for Me!

This arrived in the mail today and it is a first! My smile was thiiis ^____^ big when I saw the name of the sender with the address  New York, New York. Yay!!! Thank you so much, GG! You guys have absolutely made my busy day!Image

I believe in you now. I thought I’m going to wait for forever ’cause the last time I ordered my first set was way, way a long, long time ago. No pun intended. I tell yah, two Christmases have already passed since the order date and I will never ever wait in vain again. Well okay, here they are. I’ve moved on already. 😀 The thing is, I didn’t give up on checking-in stuff ’cause somehow and somewhere in my head there’s this little glue guy telling me I should keep up with the Glubies. So I did and it worked! Who’s your jolly-go-lucky girl of the day? Bow. *happy dance* 😀

Huzzah! Lovely stickies for me and I can’t wait to check-in for more! 🙂

Indeed, the best things in life are free and God is so good all the time. 🙂

Ho! Hey!

Dear Rafa,

Despite your recent loss in Monte Carlo, I am still grabbing a mic for you, man.

I’ve been trying to do it right
I’ve been living a lonely life
I’ve been sleeping here instead
I’ve been sleeping in my bed
I’ve been sleeping in my bed

So show me family
All the blood that I will bleed
I don’t know where I belong
I don’t know where I went wrong
But I can write a song

I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart
I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweet

He’d be standing next to me…

♫ ♪
Love — we need it now
Let’s hope for some
‘Cause oh, we’re bleeding out

♥ I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweetheart ♥
I belong with you, you belong with me, you’re my sweet 🙂

This song describes the mixed emotions I’ve been having since day 21 (MC Final). Honestly, I don’t want to go back to the way I felt in the first set. Nole (Novak Djokovic) almost bagelled Rafa holy shiznit! I almost died when he finally got himself a bread stick. That was the worst feeling that I don’t know how else to handle the choking situation happening on my telly. Rafa didn’t make it though. Nole concluded a 6-2 7-6 (1) win over a struggling Rafa. Sigh. Well, I’ll be okay. I’m always for Rafa win or lose. 🙂

Then, something happened on day 23–the best team in the EPL just won its 20th trophy OMG! I kind of think that good things always come when bad things happen. And it comes sweeter like Spring after Winter. 🙂

Glory, glory Manchester United! ♥ THIS EMOTIONS!

To all the Rafa and MUFC fan-girls and boys out there, go grab a mic and join me sing Ho! Hey! Cheers! 😀

My Dad is an Engineer :)

My Dad is a very quiet and calm man but when it comes to telling stories about his profession and the universe, he’s your talker of the day. He is just a big kid with a big backpack full of stories in it. 🙂

Cheers to the never-ending stories about the black holes, the huge cranes often used in building constructions, the 11th dimension and many more. We will always be your fan, Dad. Happy birthday! Simply the best Dad in the whole wide superuniverse  We love you to the 21st dimension and back. 🙂

By the way, Dad was born on 111th of the year 😀

♥ World’s Sweetest Guy ♥

With the women, I can break them down with humor a bit easier than I can with guys. I laugh a lot with all of them, but I have more fun with the women. Well, it’s almost equal. Rafa’s extremely affectionate with me, extremely loving, and extremely generous … he’s just the nicest, sweetest guy in the entire world.

Clay season has just begun, meaning it’s vamos time again for the RAFAns. 🙂 Bidding for an unprecedented 9th straight title (42-match, 10-year unbeaten run) at Monaco, it might not come as a surprise for Rafa to win again in Monaco (I hope I don’t jinx it :D). Well, everybody in the tennis world knows that he’s the ‘King of Clay’ and that he’s back to compete (for the love of the game and for his adorb fans :D) even with the state of his troublesome knees. That’s what matters. That’s how persistent the King is. 🙂

Today he will play Marinko Matosevic (Australian, ranked 54 in singles) at around 8:30 A.M. local time (6:30 P.M. in the Philippines) in the second round. Every match counts. We can only hope for the best for Rafa and an injury-free match.

And above all, may the 9th force be with him ’til the championship game. 🙂

Shaq vs Me!

Shaq vs Me!

I’ve been Twitterized with the great Shaq! This infographics creator is pretty cool you should try it out. 😀

Bah, Humbug!

I don’t talk much at work. I’m allergic to people who sometimes get into conversations about their plans to find a better job or get a promotion. I’m usually a quiet person when it comes to talks about achievements in life. I’m not saying that I’ve got nothing interesting to brag about. I just don’t talk about it, (more likely making yourself the subject of the conversation, ugh I hate it) but I try hard to make connections with them. I talk but I tell ya I’m not impressive. I suck at it. 😀 I could stay tight-lipped forever and I’m cool with that.

Give me everything tennis, football or basketball and I’ll conquer the world for you. Give me hot topics like The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, Bones, New Girl, The Killing, etc…name your ‘happy’ (not the self-absorbed happy okay?) and I would make the conversation last long for you. 😀

Conversational narcissism? Bah, Humbug!

Mamba Madness

The LA Lakers’ previous, or shall I say huge losses during their weird pre-playoffs stretch didn’t diminish Kobe Bryant’s greatness a bit. I bet fellow fan Ignatius could attest to that. 😀 The Black Mamba’s triple-double (23-11-11) stats, no doubt, proved that he is better than Lebron at basically every aspect of the sport. Sorry about the sudden comparison hehe. Kobe haters and LBJ creeps, keep off my space. Kobe is better. End of discussion. 😀

Anywaaaays, back to the moment of truth. >> I’m at that moment where I feel anything (could be miracle or magic maybe) can happen in this game. And it damn happened. IT WAS CRAZY. 😀

Kobe scored the triple-dubs OMG on the same day Shaq retired his #34 jersey and with the great Phil Jackson around. (Yeah, I miss the old 1-2-Kobe-Shaq-punch days) Even with injured Nash and World Peace just watching on the bench, Lakers had everything altogether. Kobe’s high spirits and the big men’s (Howard, Gasol) defense served as the team’s glue that kept them together and got the ball rolling. That is how you do it. That is how you make the Laker nation celebrate a sinister game. 🙂

So to celebrate more of the Mamba Madness, I am sharing with you a collection of quotes about Kobe also shared with us by Ignatius Oyama. But before anything else, let’s give Team LA a big wave of props for today’s great game. 😀 Gooood, okay enjoy the rub.
