As we all know, Valentine’s Day is tomorrow so I thought I would weigh in with some opinions about the holiday. First off, I believe that Valentine’s Day has lost its true meaning. Just like Christmas or Easter, it has simply become an overcommercialized holiday meant for companies to make money off what should just be a day of genuine love. Chocolates and gifts and flowers can’t buy love. People who shell out $100 plus on Valentine’s Day are simply insane.

We have all heard the cliche “treat your partner like every day is Valentine’s Day.” Sadly this does not happen. There shouldn’t be one day where you all of a sudden treat your partner like they are special. That should happen every day. Couples should also not stress out over what gifts they get each other or be upset if they don’t receive the “perfect” gift. You can have…
